Trans Am Teams Hit New Speeds for 2022
Preparations for the 2022 Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli are already underway, and teams have been testing on their new series-mandated 18-inch wheel & tire setups to prepare for the season opener, at Sebring International Raceway. As expected, the new package consisting of 18-inch Pirelli P-Zero racing tires and Forgeline forged three piece TA3R wheels has contributed to a dramatic increase in speed, with some teams already turning practice laps that were 3 seconds faster than the official Trans Am Series track record!
