GS Class Sweep at Laguna

Three Forgeline-equipped Porsche Caymans swept the Grand Sport podium, at the IMSA Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, April 30, at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. And all three teams got it done on Forgeline one piece forged monoblock GS1R wheels!Earning their second consecutive win were Trent Hindman and co-driver Cameron Cassels, of the #12 Bodymotion Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport team.“We’ve been partners with Bodymotion for years,” said David Schardt, president of Forgeline. “We could not be more proud to be a part of their well-deserved success! A win for CJ Wilson cannot be that far away. We are excited for all of our teams.”Finishing second and third, CJ Wilson Racing got both its Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsports onto the podium. The CJ Wilson Racing team’s #33, with Marc Miller and TOTAL Pole Award winner Danny Burkett, captured second place, followed closely by their #35, with Tyler McQuarrie and Till Bechtolsheimer, close behind.“Porsche teams choose our wheel because they are durable but lighter than the factory wheel. We also manufacture our race wheels with an open lug design. It allows more room for the sockets for a faster pit stop,” Schardt said.
