Multimatic Mustang Wins Michelin Pilot Challenge Finale at Road America
How’s that for a racing debut? In his first-ever race on North American soil, 18-year old Sebastian Priaulx drove to victory, in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge 2019 season finale, at Road Atlanta. Sebastian and teammate, NASCAR Xfinity driver Austin Cindric, drove the no.15 Multimatic Motorsports Ford Mustang GT4 to a GS class victory, after starting second on the grid. It was an impressive debut for the Priaulx/Cindric duo and a spectacular way to close out the 2019 season!
Their winning Ford Mustang GT4 is powered by a 5.2L Roush Yates cross-plane crank V8 mated to a 6-speed paddle-shifted transmission and rides on an upgraded competition-approved suspension package, Multimatic DSSV dampers, Brembo brakes, Michelin race rubber, and 18×11 Forgeline one piece forged monoblock GS1R wheels finished in Graphite.
A huge congrats to Sebastian Priaulx, Austin Cindric, Multimatic Motorsports, and Ford. And thanks for trusting Forgeline to carry the load!
